The Rosewood Inn at Rye

The staff were so pleasant and courteous, especially the owner, Howie and Jaiden. The room was spacious and clean, the grounds were beautiful, and the price was good. I can't wait to book again for next year in September. 2/25/2026 update. I checked the price for the same room and same week in 2026, and the daily rate had gone from 165.00 to 279.00. That's crazy. I'll look elsewhere.

The team here takes real pride in making guests feel welcome and goes out of its way to look after people. Our room was simple, clean, and just right for the night. The generous grab and go breakfast had plenty to choose from, cereal, pastries, yogurt, fruit, juice, water, and coffee. They also have beach passes if you're passing through the Seacoast to go to the beach. It's a great little place, not your average motor lodge. You can barely hear the road noise on Rte 1, probably thanks to all the trees and bushes. They're putting a lot of work into making an ordinary motel feel pleasant. We'd gladly stay again if we're around Portsmouth.

We've been really enjoying our stay at the Inn at Rye Place. Check-in was easy, and contact-free arrival seems to be an option for late arrivals or people who want more distance. The room was immaculately clean and had everything we needed, including the mini-fridge we booked, which is always nice since many places we've stayed lately don't guarantee one. Our room faces busy Lafayette, so there's some traffic noise, a tradeoff for the convenient location. Still, the rooms were much quieter than we expected, possibly because of the building's age or renovations. The beds are super comfortable, and the spacious grounds are great for traveling with our dog. It's close to all the places we like to visit in the area. We'd book again.

We were headed to Maine and this looked like a good place to stop. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were incredibly clean with everything we needed. Out back there's a spot to sit by a fire, and they provide the firewood. Breakfast was available to grab and go, with fresh pastries, fruit, yogurt, and coffee. We'll definitely stay here again.
