The bathroom was neat and nice, but that was the main bright spot. For $110, I got a room like a Motel 6 in a run-down part of LA. The bed was so hard I might as well have slept on the floor, and highway noise came through as if the doors and windows were open. I support small businesses, but this price just wasn’t worth it.

The roads were clean and comfortable, but the place was way overpriced for having no amenities. A $10 key deposit seems ridiculous, especially since pilot car drivers often run on cards and don’t usually carry cash. The lady wouldn’t let me put the deposit on my card. I think pilot car drivers should get a discount since we’re out of there first thing in the morning.

We paid the new $100 price, plus a $10 key deposit that you get back when you return the key. We were exhausted after 11 hours of driving and didn’t feel like looking elsewhere. I’ve stayed here several times over the years for work, and the price used to be reasonable. I’m not sure yet if I’ll stay again. The rooms are roomy and very clean, access is easy, and there’s a convenience store and restaurant next door. Customer service was great, and he had a good sense of humor. Everything was great apart from the price.

At $90 a night plus a $10 key card deposit, the room is good for the price. It’s handy for truck drivers, with a laundromat and other services nearby, so you don’t have to go far. The beds were very clean, though they’re the very firm kind, which comes down to personal preference.
