The place felt welcoming, and everyone I dealt with was nice. The front desk team was friendly, and the security staff member I spoke with was polite. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning my room each day. I'll be coming back.

I planned to stay one night, but ended up there for half a week while family was in the hospital. The staff took such good care of me. Linda recognized me every morning and checked that I was okay, and housekeeping was sweet and understanding as I kept staying in the same room. The location and views are amazing. I wish I'd had time to explore, so maybe next time.

The pillows were good, but the beds were rock hard. Traffic outside made the rooms really loud, so bring earplugs. The lobby was too warm and humid, and the incense smell was overwhelming. Work paid for my room and I appreciated that, but I wouldn't choose to stay here again.

The room was clean and fine, and the staff everywhere were great. But being right beside the highway meant a lot of road noise, with construction-like sounds early in the morning and during rush hour. The location is what it is, though better soundproof windows might help. I won't stay here again.

We were there for two nights for the CIM. The hotel looked dated at check-in, but we figured we could live with it since we'd be busy. The first night was okay. The second was awful: we had an important race the next day and needed to be up around 3:30-4 a.m., but at 8 p.m. loud music began. Our room on the 15th floor was shaking, and it sounded like it was right next door. We called the front desk around 8:30. They first said it should stop around 10 and blamed nearby restaurants. We tried to sleep, but the noise woke us repeatedly. By midnight, the karaoke was unbearable. On that call, the clerk said it might be in a meeting room and she'd send someone to turn it down. When I asked if the hotel had been able to control it all along, she changed the explanation and said a guest had reported an individual outside the property, and that Sac PD would be asked to talk to them. The music stopped about ten minutes after we hung up. Maybe Sac PD handled it, but the story didn't make sense to us. The hotel was fully booked for the weekend, yet supposedly no one else had complained in four hours, and one call fixed it within minutes. The next morning we learned it had actually been a nurses' party on the 16th floor. I believe the hotel could have been honest and offered to move us to a quieter room. Instead, we were lied to twice, and none of us slept. I told the associate by phone I would ask for the second night to be refunded; she said she'd tell management. When I raised it with De’Andre at the desk, he accused me of lying and asked what we expected the hotel to do if it was a Sac PD issue. He had a terrible attitude, showed no interest in fixing anything, and seemed eager to get rid of me. I was appalled he was dealing with customers that way. He wasn't the general manager, but acted as if he were. The best he offered was half the cost of one night and parking for both days. Given how we were treated, that felt insulting and nowhere near enough.
