Budget Inn Safford

Some people may pass this place up because of how it looks, but it's very clean, and the owner goes above and beyond for regular guests. We always get the two-bed room we need since we have our child with us, and he doesn't ask us for a deposit because we show respect for his rooms by keeping them clean. He's even let us have keys before we've paid the full amount. The prices are great, so my boyfriend and I keep coming back. Thanks again, Alex!

The people are really friendly, and I think the maid is one of the nicest people I've met in town. I do think she could use a little lesson in cleaning, though. The floors and shower were nasty when I got into the room. No offense, ma'am, just being honest. God bless you.

Management was friendly and helpful, which was the one good thing about our stay. We could only afford one night, but with my daughter's medical issues we should have left. The room smelled strange, the carpet was stained and bumpy, and the chairs were stained too. The bedding had cigarette burns, the TV needed a call to get it fixed, and there were roaches and ants in the bathroom. The dusty fan didn't work. The pool was empty and didn't look safe. We definitely won't stay there on our next trip that way.

If money's tight, this motel could be a decent deal. A room with two beds was about $55, and it had a mini fridge and microwave. The rooms are roomy, and the A/C kept things nice and cold. The beds are a bit worn but still okay to sleep on. It seems like an older motel, with little imperfections here and there. The parking lot layout is a bother, and you use an actual key instead of a card, though there are deadbolts on the room doors.
