Comfort Suites Saginaw North

Breakfast and the pool were nice extras, but Ann at the desk Sunday night really stood out. After a long day driving, she got us checked in and settled quickly, and made sure we had a room that worked for all of us.

The hotel was peaceful and felt safe, and everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. My room at Comfort Suites was clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed. Breakfast was good and easy to pick up in the morning. I'd stay here again.

Breakfast ran out of coffee and waffle mix, and there wasn't any gravy for the biscuits. What really upset us, though, was the pool closing on checkout morning so they could add chemicals. We paid extra for a hotel with a pool, and that could have been done after checkout when guests were gone. My little girl behaved so well all weekend and during the 10 hour drive here, with swimming as her reward. When we come back next year, we'll tell everyone in our organization how inconsiderate this Comfort Suites was.

There was a room available next door, and it was nicer for the same price, so we were lucky to find it. At this place, we booked a room with two queens and a sofa bed for three people, but they checked us into one with two doubles and no sofa bed. That simply wouldn't work for our group. Nobody mentioned the change, and they were going to charge us the higher rate. When I asked the desk about it, they said the room I'd booked wasn't available and they couldn't help. A horrible experience. I'd say don't risk staying here.
