Guy Harvey Outpost Resort on St. Augustine Beach

We had a wonderful week away, with super clean rooms and lovely staff everywhere we went, from servers and bartenders to everyone else. The host kept the evening events fun, and we enjoyed the live music, trivia, and music bingo. The resort feels a little dated, but the pool area and beach access are beautiful. There is incredible Guy Harvey artwork throughout the place. Seriously, one of our best weeks away in a long time.

We planned to stay one night, then liked it so much we ended up staying three. The food and cocktails at the restaurant were delicious, and you have to try the tropical cheesecake. Candy, the bartender and mixologist, was awesome. There's a retail shop in the lobby, plus lovely outdoor spaces with a tiki bar, heaters, and firepits. It's right on the beach. Our room was immaculate, the beds were comfortable, and the shower had strong water pressure. They gave us extra towels without us asking. Every staff member we met was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the stay so much that we'll definitely be back.

We loved our stay. The rooms were clean and cozy, with two queen beds, a mini fridge, microwave, safe, and a balcony door with a breathtaking ocean view. The walls did a good job keeping down noise from neighbors beside and above us, unless you're on the fifth floor. The resort has five floors of rooms, a workout area, Wi-Fi, a tiki bar, a gift shop, and an eatery with music trivia and bingo nights. The shop feels like a tourist trap, with themed items to match the fish paintings and hallway carpets. The outdoor pool was well maintained, and getting from it to the ocean was easy. There's plenty of outdoor space for smokers, as well as an outdoor eating area. The dog fee is $50 per dog per night.

For our first trip to Saint Augustine, Guy Harvey resort was a 10 out of 10. We stayed in room 210 on a girls' trip from February 19-22. There was no ocean view, and we had been a little unsure after reading some reviews, but the pretty patio areas put us at ease. The room was clean when we arrived, and the bathrooms were beautiful and well cleaned. There is art everywhere. Santiago’s restaurant in the main lobby was fantastic. We especially recommend the pork belly nachos and buffalo chicken dip egg rolls. The weather was phenomenal, so we got to enjoy the beach, only steps away, and spend a little time at the pool. Thanks for accommodating us. We hope to return!
