The casino’s floor servers are the best I’ve come across, and drinks are free while you’re visibly playing. The restaurants are mostly good, though I don’t eat at buffets, so I can’t comment on that one. Payouts can be pretty sizable when you hit, and after the first few visits they comp you. It’s worth the almost two-hour trip from the Elmira/Corning area to stay and play. The staff are great all around. The rooms are always super clean, and the front desk will upgrade you when they can, even without you asking.

Late at night, we wanted snacks and found there was no vending machine, and nowhere to buy anything after evening hours. We ended up asking the valet for a complimentary ride to a nearby One-Stop. They really need some late-night snack options for people still gambling at 3:00 in the morning. Otherwise, I was pleasantly surprised. I expected something like Seneca Niagara, but this casino was much better. Everything was convenient, the rooms were nicer than I’d expected, and there was a great variety of machines. It was clean, and most of the staff were friendly.

The hotel service was wonderful from the bellhop at check-in through our departure. Eddie, who greets guests by the elevators on the way to their rooms, really stood out. He greeted my husband and me, and I heard him do the same for everyone who passed. Some guests were unkind when they had to dig out their keys for him to check, but that’s part of his job and helps keep everyone safe. His customer service was outstanding. Hats off to you, Eddie. Keep it up! The hotel visit was an amazing weekend getaway. We’re loyal members at our home casino in Niagara Falls, NY, and our daughter gave us a weekend in a jacuzzi room for Christmas. She stays in the same room type every year for her wedding anniversary and wanted us to join them this year. The casino itself wasn’t as good. My husband went to guest services to check whether he had any free play, since we’d never been there before, though we knew the three casinos were connected. The young woman at the desk was rude and treated him like a bother. She wasn’t wearing a name badge I could read. I stood nearby, and when I saw my husband getting irritated, I went over and asked if there was a problem. He told me not to worry, knowing how I can be. She checked his card, but when I thanked her, she didn’t respond. I said it louder and still got nothing. She seemed more interested in ending the interaction and chatting with the coworker behind her. It’s unacceptable not to acknowledge a guest, and she shouldn’t work with the public if she can’t be professional. The food was excellent. At Bearclaw, I got coffee and cookies, and Meghan at the Cafe gave great service while I waited for a takeout order for four. She had a great attitude, earned five stars, and I tipped accordingly. The food was great too. We also went to the western door on Saturday night, where the server was wonderful and the food was amazing. We’ll come back. The excellent service from everyone else outweighed the bad experience with that one employee. Otherwise, I would have given five stars.

It was my first visit, and I’ll definitely come back. Our room felt welcoming, with plenty of space, and it was clean. Overnight guests could use the spa, pool, and hot tub. The holiday party was lovely too, with good music and company. Loved the stay!
