We’ve stayed in a lot of places on this trip, and this has been our favorite so far. The hosts made us feel so welcome, and we really enjoyed chatting with them. The house is beautiful, the beds are extremely comfortable, and breakfast was incredible, with very high-quality teas too. The price felt very reasonable for what you get. This is what a stay should be, and you won’t be disappointed.

The house is stunning, and our room was so comfortable. We came for a wedding, and my daughter and I had a wonderful stay. The hosts and the food were phenomenal. I’d absolutely come back, and I’d give it 10 stars if I could.

The owners were some of the nicest people I’ve met, and they were so accommodating. Coffee and tea are available whenever you like, drinks are kept stocked, and there are plenty of comfortable places around the house to sit and relax. Breakfast was delicious, with a different meal each day. The house itself is gorgeous, and I kept being amazed every time I turned a corner. The neighborhood is lovely for a morning walk or coffee on the front porch. Our clean, beautiful room had air conditioning we could control ourselves. If you want more than just a place to sleep, this is the spot I’d choose every time I visit.

Luis and Rhonda have clearly put a lot of care into restoring this beautiful house and sharing it with guests. It’s full of history, charm, and lovely antiques, and everything was very clean. Breakfast was delicious, and you can tell they put real effort into making it personal. Our 7yr old son loved the fish outside, and they set him up with a great cot bed and full sheets. We walked to dinner, and the location was handy for visiting SU. There are a lot of beautiful antiques around, so that’s something to keep in mind with younger kids. We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back.

Breakfast was different each morning, chef-quality, and served in the formal dining room. Luis and Rhonda were friendly and made us feel welcome, so we’d gladly stay again on our next genealogy visit to Salisbury. We spent three midweek nights here during a summer heatwave, and our room stayed cool, clean, and comfortable. The Victorian mansion in Salisbury’s Newtown historic district is beautifully kept and subtly modernized, with many original architectural details still intact. Antiques and period-style art and decor fill the house. It really feels like stepping back 120 years.
