Hampton Inn Salisbury

The place looked remodeled, but the carpets in both the room and hallways need shampooing. I could feel a grimy texture in my room. There were around 15 dead ladybugs on the floor and some live ones on the walls. I assume they came through an unsealed area by the AC. I travel around the country for work and stay in hotels every night, so I was surprised no manager or cleaning crew noticed something that obvious. If they’re going to stay, at least give them food and water. I won’t be back.

We stayed twice in one week while traveling out of town for Thanksgiving and back. The exit has plenty of good food options, and we’d happily stay here again. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the parking lot was well lit and felt safe. Dustie at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was complimentary and delicious, and the staff checked that everyone was enjoying it. It’s a pet-friendly hotel. We didn’t bring pets, but saw some in the lobby and elevator, and they were all quiet and respectful.

The room was quiet and clean, with a comfortable bed. The shower was hot and had good pressure. Soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion were in wall-mounted pump dispensers. The fitness center was well equipped, and there was coffee, tea, and coco available all day.

The hotel itself is fine, but they don’t seem to be strict about pot smoking. The smell can get pretty intense in the hallways and outside, and then makes its way into the rooms.
