There are five levels, each themed for different ages, plus a small art gallery. If you count the dedicated Kids area on the bottom level, that makes six.

The children's room is one of the library's highlights, packed with games and materials, and the staff are very friendly. It's a beautiful place inside and out, with a large terrace, a spectacular view, and a bee colony, perhaps the best detail of all. If you like books and are passing through Salt Lake City, it's well worth a stop.
This place is awesome. The big chess set on floors 3, 1, and the kids' floor is awesomely awesome.
I really love this library!
I like the rooftop best. The bathrooms can be a little sketchy, but hey, it's a downtown library.
