Best Western Plus Fiesta Inn

The room was so-so, and the area didn't seem very safe. What really put me off was the desk clerk, the least friendly one I've encountered in three months of travel. He was rude, argumentative, and quick-tempered. Every question seemed to annoy him, and he made me feel unwelcome. He didn't seem suited to customer service. I won't book here again.

The room felt poorly maintained. There was paint splattered around from what looked like a quick repaint, the nightstand was sticky, and the pillows were old, lumpy, and sad. Towels had yellow stains, the toilet had hair on it, and the shower was rusty and gross. The mini fridge barely cooled anything, and its freezer compartment was thawing. Privacy was a problem too. The bed's window shades left gaps along the edges, so the parking lot could still see in. A small shade by the door didn't cover the bathroom window, which faced you as you sat down, and anyone at the pool could see in. There was even a note saying the lock didn't work and to use the extra flip lock. Breakfast was gross. The waffles, which I usually like, were disgusting. The sausage links tasted weird and weren't warm, and the scrambled eggs were watery and powdery. Google advertised the room at $49, but I was charged $94.

The staff were really helpful, and the bed was clean and incredibly comfortable. The room had a fridge and microwave. It's not a luxury hotel, but it was nice, and having free breakfast is a big plus when you're traveling with kids.

This was a really rough place to stay. The lobby worker quickly moved me when I asked to change rooms, since the pillows and cases in my first room were badly stained, the sheets were stained too, and I even found a hair on one pillow. The replacement room had a stained carpet, a very dusty window, and a door that needed repair. The pillows were very thin, and the linens and towels felt scratchy. I know it's a budget hotel, but the stay was unpleasant. I wouldn't recommend it.
