Days Inn by Wyndham San Antonio Alamo/Riverwalk

The bathroom was so cramped that water from the shower spread across the floor. There was only a cloth curtain, and the shower blasted water with no way to adjust it. The floor was sticky and dirty, the bed creaked, and there was hair lying around the bathroom. The room itself was a decent size, but the hospitality was pathetic. For breakfast there was bread, a bagel, cream cheese, juice, and coffee, with no butter or drinking water or bottles anywhere. There weren't many options. We booked a King room for two nights because it was close to the River cruise. Our reservation said check-in was 2 p.m., but on arrival we were told it was actually 3. I wouldn't recommend this place.

The workers quickly cleaned up when we pointed out the poop stain on the outside of the toilet bowl and what I think were poop stains on the walls. It was disgusting. The service from the people working there was nice, so this isn't a complaint about them. We'd stayed here two years ago and had no problems, but this time the room was horrible. It smelled funky, maybe like someone had smoked in it. The floorboards were lifting, and one long piece came all the way up when I walked over it. The towels looked dingy and barely dried anything. I don't think I'll come back, even though the location near the convention center is great.

The bed was firmer than we like, but we still slept well. The place was mostly quiet, and the surrounding area felt safe and comfortable. Our room was clean and nice, and we had a very pleasant stay at this Days Inn. We'd consider coming back. It was a much better experience than our previous hotel in Katy.

The room was clean and spacious, and we had a handicap room. The location is great, but the service from Rebecca Garza ruined our time here. I'll NEVER stay at another Days Inn after the way this establishment allows service, specifically hers. My fiancé and I asked for our deposit back after one night. We were told we couldn't get it because of stained towels and because we hadn't reported my service animal when we arrived. Yes, the towels were a little dirty, but they weren't stained beyond what a wash could fix. My service animal caused no disturbance, acted fine, and didn't damage anything. I would have gladly provided supporting paperwork if asked, but nobody asked. When we tried to discuss it with Rebecca at the front desk, she started yelling, saying she'd worked in the industry for 15 years and knew the laws. She said we had to report the animal on arrival. She kept interrupting before I could finish a sentence and mocked me for saying I'd report it to the ADA, almost laughing as if she knew there'd be no consequences. She then claimed I wasn't on the room's guest list, even though the paperwork she gave us clearly said two guests. After that, she said she'd call the police if we didn't leave right away. For what? Who knows. Her treatment was nowhere near hospitable, which is sad after so many years in the industry.
