I booked online for a king room with a microwave and refrigerator, but that room wasn't available when I arrived. I had to take a double room, pay an extra $59, and ended up paying $96 instead of the $46 I booked for. They also didn't disclose the $50 deposit until I got there. They kept saying I'd taken a pillow and had caused stains on the sheets, even though the stains were already there. I feel they falsely accuse guests to keep the deposit. That's unprofessional and shady, and taking guests' money to make money is wrong. I don't like being scammed or stolen from, and I won't stay there again. Be careful when booking.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the customer service was great. Mina is a very nice woman who was more than willing to help during my stay.

Lucky was wonderful, caring, and always ready to help with anything we needed during our roughly five weeks here while we waited to move into our new apartment. The room was roomy and comfortable, and there are lots of places to get food nearby. A food truck parks here every night, and its food was delicious. We had a great stay and recommend the place. One older gentleman who works mornings could be a little rude and rarely smiled, until he learned we had one more week and wanted us to leave a review. Then he smiled. I thought he never would.

For the price, the place was reasonable, and the room had the essentials. Most of the stay went well, but the preparation fell short: my reservation listed a microwave, yet we didn't have one at all. We noticed microwaves in other rooms around us during our stay.

We were new to San Antonio and booked for a little over a week while my wife and I waited for our first checks so we could rent an apartment. We have two young kids and a baby, and they weren't disruptive or loud. The one good thing was that they accepted a picture of my ID. The staff were rude and inconsiderate, and the rooms had trap house vibes. There was food and dirt in the fridge, on the floor, and behind the headboards, an open can of tuna, clothes from previous stays, a stained toilet, broken windows, and stained mattresses. We had to run hot water for 10-15 minutes before it warmed up. Roaches came out if we didn't throw food trash away as soon as we finished eating in the room. Dog poop was all over the property, which was next to a homeless camp. Don't ask to change rooms either. When I asked housekeeping for trash bags from the cart, she gave me an ugly look and walked away. The linen was washed but stained. We got room service only about three times the whole stay, and then only a linen and towel exchange. They seemed annoyed when we asked, then blamed us for the stained linen. They tried to charge an extra $50 a day for "throw away linen." I had to pretend to be apologetic to avoid the charge and stay there. When they exchanged the linen, I took the folded clean linen straight to the office to show them the stains and burn holes. They said they couldn't tell whether it had been given to us that way or whether we'd done it and folded it back. They said they trusted their employees and that we were probably lying, since they only had the best rooms, towels, and linen. I bought a broom and cleaned the room myself. There was no microwave in our room, so I took my kids to stretch their legs and use the one in the office. Then they told us we could no longer stay because we had three kids. That was the day before our first checks came in, when we planned to rent an apartment, even though San Antonio was under a freeze warning.
