The airport noise was expected, with planes flying over all day and night, but the rest of the stay was unpleasant. Breakfast looked so limited and unappetizing that we went out to eat, and the lounge was too small. Staff were a mixed bag, though they were clearly overwhelmed on the first night. Check-in was delayed more than 6 hours because they were short staffed, even while hosting major events back to back. The carpet needed cleaning, but the couch and linens were worse. The couch had such bad stains I didn’t want to sit on it. Orange marks were on the sheets and their replacements, and on some washcloths too. Some towels smelled sickeningly of mildew. I couldn’t tell what was on the walls and didn’t ask. The shower toiletries were poor quality, and the drain cap kept coming off while I showered, which felt unsafe. We booked with another chain for the rest of the trip and were much happier. That hotel let us check in early and was spotless. I’ve learned my lesson here.

The staff were wonderful, and the shuttle made the trip especially convenient. It goes anywhere within a few miles and even took me to my doctor’s appointment. The hotel is close to both the airport and downtown. I’d highly recommend it and will definitely stay again soon. ♥️

The room’s living area was badly lit, with no lamp or built-in light by the desk, so I couldn’t do as much work at night as I’d planned. The couch and ottoman were heavily worn and had large stains. The mattress kept sliding off its base, and when I tried to fix it, I found the base cover was torn. The toilet also gurgled a lot. The lobby smelled strongly of chlorine every time I passed through. I have a chlorine allergy, so it was too much for me, though I didn’t notice the smell on my room floor. The room layout was like the last Springhill Suites I stayed in. The airport location is convenient, but perhaps a little too close. This morning the planes seemed to pass very near the building as they descended. The shuttle drivers were friendly and helpful. Most of the other staff I dealt with were helpful too, though spring break groups had them very busy and they may have been short staffed. One of my worst Marriott brand stays. ☹️

The third room still wasn’t clean: there was a towel on the floor, open soap, unemptied trash, and a dead roach. The AC didn’t work, and what looked like a white ant was crawling on my gown. I asked for the room to be cleaned, but it never was. In the second room, a handicapped room, there was a floor stain and no water pressure. I couldn’t figure out how to turn on the shower. The first room might have been okay, but the freeway noise was too much, and I hadn’t realized planes would be overhead too. I’ve had good stays at other Marriott properties, but this location makes me question their commitment to quality. It ought to be a Best Western. Don’t stay here.

The staff made the stay pleasant, and they handled my concern professionally. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the airport shuttle is free, runs every 30 minutes, and takes about 10 minutes at most. There’s also a cute, well-equipped exercise room. Nino was especially welcoming and helpful. Around 4:15 AM, someone who seemed to be from room service or the shuttle staff tried to enter my room. Reception said they thought I had an early checkout at 3 AM. I understand the pace of an airport hotel and their effort to get rooms ready, but being woken by someone opening your door was unsettling. Thankfully, the safety latch was on. Some corridors, walls, and ceilings need maintenance. Apart from that incident, it was a comfortable stay, and the customer service was excellent.
