Studio 6 San Antonio Airport

I went back to the front desk for a refund almost as soon as I entered the room. The bathroom floor was flooded, as if someone had just showered, the door was barely attached to its hinges, and a cockroach crawled out of the toilet paper. The front desk woman was rude too. I was so horrified I didn't take pictures.

The rate is low and the location is convenient for the airport, but I spent the rest of the night in my car after checking in. I paid the daily rate, an early check-in fee, and a deposit before heading to what seemed like the same clean, roomy kind of room I remembered from staying here a few years ago. Then I found the shower knob didn't work, dresser drawers were missing or broken, and roaches were everywhere. I was so grossed out I took the couple of small bags I'd brought back to my car so I wouldn't carry bugs home. For a non-smoking room infested with roaches, charging a deposit is ridiculous.

The room was disgusting, with mold, bugs, glitter, and grime everywhere. The woman at the service desk was rude and unwelcoming, with a real 'better than you' attitude.

The room was filthy, with dirt and smoke stains on the walls, drywall pieces all over the bathroom, a gross tub, and sticky floors. I'd booked an accessible room, but only found out the next morning that I'd been moved to the second floor. The elevator and decent-looking pool were the only saving graces, though I didn't swim. I'd booked through the Motel 6 app, which had listed extra fees and pet policies, but when I checked in they required a $20 cash deposit that hadn't been shown online. Staff just pointed to a sign about it and said I could use their ATM. In the morning, they struggled to find my deposit envelope because it had a different room number from the room I'd actually stayed in. I was glad to leave after one night and wouldn't recommend this Studio 6 or stay here again.
