Studio 6 Extended Stay - San Antonio, TX - Six Flags

I'd put the stay around a 4 to 4.5. The motel is very old, and you can hear the highway, but the room was clean and well kept. There were a couple of small rips in the sofa and a few cosmetic spots that needed paint. Check-in felt awkward for some reason, with multiple profiles or reservations apparently coming through the Wyndham site. When I left, the front desk clerk was very kind and sweet.

On Valentine's Day, after dinner with my family, my key card stopped working. We were left outside for two hours, unable to get into the room or reach anyone, and my service animal was inside. I called every number I could find and got no answer. I paid for a room I couldn't even stay in because neither management nor the front desk picked up. This place is awful, and I'm taking it to corporate. It's ridiculous and unprofessional to have no working number or after-hours maintenance contact.

We stayed a week, kept quiet, and had no other trouble apart from one incident as we were loading up to leave. My dog slipped out the door while I went to get them, and an employee who lives on site yelled from her room that the dog needed a leash. She was screaming at me in front of my children, who started crying. I didn't get her name, but that was very unprofessional. Miss Teresa, on the other hand, is professional and such a sweetheart.

A good choice if you need a room with a kitchen. They're roomy, pet friendly, and each has a refrigerator and stovetop. Other guests were quiet and courteous. It really felt like a home away from home.
