Super 8 San Antonio Riverwalk Area

We’re on our third night here, and we’d definitely stay again. The room smelled clean as soon as we walked in. I checked the beds, and the sheets and blankets were clean too. The whole room was pretty clean. I used to own a cleaning business, so I notice the little things, and I could only point out a few very small ones. The fresh waffles at the included breakfast are tasty. Five stars!

Getting around was easy because the hotel is close to downtown, the River Walk, and the Frost Bank Center. I had a great stay at the Super 8 by Wyndham in San Antonio. The room was very clean, the bed was surprisingly comfortable, and I slept well every night. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making check-in and the rest of the stay smooth and pleasant. Whether you’re here for a concert, sightseeing, or just passing through, it’s a comfortable, affordable choice. Highly recommend.

The staff were amazing and made us feel welcome, especially maintenance man Rick. He jumped in to help when our TV stopped working and brought us towels when we asked. In the morning he was so kind to my kids at breakfast. They were feeling down because they thought there wouldn’t be enough food, so he brought out more and made our family feel special while we’re trying to find a home. I never felt unwanted or uncomfortable here like I did at the previous place I stayed. Shout out to all the staff, this is my go-to spot now. The pool was super clean and the kids enjoyed it, and there weren’t any druggies or homeless people around, which was a big plus.

We stayed a week in a King room that was clean, tidy, and quiet, and housekeeping was great. The hotel is pet friendly, and employees won’t enter your room unless you’re there. Breakfast is small, but waffles and cereal are better than nothing, especially as many hotels are stopping breakfast service. I was skeptical at first because my past Super 8 stays had been bad in every way, but this hotel was amazing. The owner and her brother were wonderful, and we’ll be back. The only real issue was the bees swarming us at the pool. We let them know, and they had it sprayed the next day.
