For nearly $400, this was a very unpleasant stay. My key stopped working when I returned at 4 a.m. after a long day, and people were hanging around under the stairwell as we headed to our room, which made me uncomfortable. The room smelled of cigarettes despite being marked non-smoking. The towels were very dirty, with what looked like mold, red stains, and a strange smell. There were no hair dryers in our room, and the one in my friend's room didn't work at all. Cleanliness was 0/10, and it wasn't worth the price.

The motel cat was the highlight for us. Staff were good during our few interactions, and housekeeping cleaned the room daily and left extra towels. It's an okay place for a night or two while traveling. The main drawback is the neighborhood, where there's a lot of homelessness and drug activity, so be careful around the area.

I needed a downstairs room because I can't move quickly or climb stairs. From the first morning, the door kept sticking. By the second morning, I had to call the office to get someone to let me out. Being stuck inside and thinking about a fire or another emergency was frightening. I explained that to management, but they made no effort to move me to a different room. I contacted corporate because the room still hadn't been changed. They said they'd help settle my bill at checkout and told me to speak with the manager. I'd never seen him during my stay. When he finally appeared, he denied anything was wrong with the room and shouted at me as though I were trying to take advantage. I'm sure he'd been told about the problem, but he never called to apologize for the inconvenience. Some managers just don't want to hear about issues with their property, especially when you post a review. The manager was mean and seemed cheap.

Do not book here. We had bed bugs, and my child was getting bitten. I brought it to the front desk, but they did nothing for us and wouldn't refund my money. They offered to move us, then changed their mind after I said I didn't want to stay anymore because of the bugs. The young Black woman at the desk was very rude and didn't care about what we said. They acted like we had brought the bugs in, even though we'd been getting bitten the whole time. I would not recommend this place.
