Courtyard by Marriott Fort Myers I-75/Gulf Coast Town Center

The staff are what make the Ft. Myers Residence Inn Gulf Coast Town Center stand out. Manager Cris and front desk attendant Ana were consistently cheerful and helpful. They had free water at the desk and arranged for us to check in several hours early because our flight arrived early. The room was large, very clean, and had a comfortable bed. The hotel is near shopping and good restaurants, and I-75 makes it convenient to go farther afield. With a good included breakfast, a nice facility, and a very reasonable price, there are plenty of options in this range, but I'll stay here again when I'm back in Ft. Myers. Thanks to Cris, Ana, and everyone who made our stay so nice!

The location is excellent, especially if you're interested in shopping, and the service was acceptable overall. Still, the room took noticeably long to be ready, and the stay was disappointing compared with our past Marriott experiences. Noise was the main issue. We could hear footsteps, beds moving, and even shower water from neighboring rooms, as if the walls weren't insulated well. The air conditioning was loud too, making a good night's sleep difficult if you're sensitive to noise. Breakfast had few choices and no fruit or pastries, unlike what we've typically seen at other Marriott properties. The pool wasn't heated, and the water was very cold during our stay. For what it cost, I wouldn't stay here again.

The rooms are nice and have everything you need for a comfortable, home-like stay. Breakfast was okay, with limited choices, though most of the food was cooked well. The sausages were kind of bad, so I'd skip those. Rooms can get noisy at night, and I'm not sure why, so be ready to wake up.

We enjoyed our short stay a lot. The room and bathroom were spacious, breakfast was complimentary with a huge variety, and the front desk attendants were very kind. I'd definitely recommend it, especially if you're taking the Key West Express.
