Best Western San Diego Pacific Beach/Mission Bay

The people at the front desk, in the lobby, and on the housekeeping team were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I also found plenty of parking, which made things easy. My corner room was much larger than I expected, with lots of space and a comfortable feel. There was a gym for quick workouts and free breakfast in the morning. A wonderful stay and good value.

I was there for two weeks while my dad recovered at the VA hospital, less than 10 minutes away. Seeing active construction when I first pulled up made me nervous, since I'd chosen the hotel for its price, but it turned out to work for all my needs. I felt safe, the room was clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the shower smelled good, and the staff were very friendly. Weekday rates were under $100 a night, with Friday and Saturday not much higher. You can't beat that. I wish the new owner and staff all the best.

hey, it's Maddox. after a really bad experience, here's my updated review! the renovated rooms look nice, with a view by the bay. it's close to a 7 11 and shell for snacks. breakfast was pretty decent, maybe 6.5/10, not amazing but not bad. the room was comfy, the chairs were clean and a nice sleek blue, and the bed was nice and hard to beat. the outside of the hotel is kind of gross and needs some work. still, i had a nice time at the pool, which was cold for a plunge. 9.5/10, good price right now!

Clean, comfortable room for a good price. Breakfast wasn't the usual BW hot spread with waffles, but maybe that's the tradeoff for the great rate. Front desk staff were friendly.
