The location worked well for my trip, and I didn’t see any bugs. The bed was passable, though one pillow had split seams. That’s about where the positives end. I checked in after 6 pm and still had to wait for the room to be cleaned. The place is worn and dated, and you need to bring a lot yourself: there was no hairdryer, and kitchen things that should have been there had to be requested from the desk. The kitchen surfaces were filthy and looked like they’d been that way a long time. The spatula I was given had egg yolk caked on it. The bathroom sink filled up just from brushing my teeth, and neither the bathroom nor kitchen sink had a plug. There were mouse traps by the front entrance. I knew housekeeping wouldn’t come daily, but the room should have been properly cleaned between guests, not just had the bed changed and towels put out.

The laundry dryer left black marks all over two of my white shirts, each worth $100. Management said it wasn’t their problem and told me to file a claim with the laundry company. After a week I’d had enough and asked to move. The first room they showed me had a TV that didn’t work, and the second hadn’t been cleaned: bedding was on the floor and the toilet was clogged with feces. The third was nicer, but its front door only locked if I pulled it inward hard and twisted the lock with all my strength. My original room had a microwave rusted inside, kitchen cabinets coming apart, no bathroom fan, and a bathroom door that wouldn’t close and was falling off the wall. Its TV also stopped working. This place hasn’t been remodeled. The photos are of the first two rooms, including a dead cockroach on the floor.

The constant knocking from the bathroom pipes has me scared to shower, and the whole place has been so uncomfortable that I bought my own blanket and pillowcases because the bed linens were stained. I’ve also bought wall plugs, Lysol, frebreeze, bleach, and candles just to feel okay here. The appliances are old, the kitchen counters are cracked and stained, the TV remote lagged until I got another one, and my key card stopped working. It’s more headache than it’s worth. They say this place is newly renovated, but it clearly isn’t, and the smell hits you as soon as you walk in. Employees seem trained to say they don’t know. There are zero amenities, nowhere to sit, and no grill. I tried to stay positive, but please spend your money elsewhere. Manager and owner, do better with this location. I’m going to push to never stay here again. I’m very, very uncomfortable.

Staff are great and really attentive. They’re updating the place, so you get a mix of old and new. Good value for your money if you’re staying five days or longer.
