Good Life Vacation Rental Resort

The houses were very clean and welcoming when we arrived, and there was plenty of room for our large group of mostly teenagers to eat and spend time together. The location was a big plus, close to Costco and even closer to the freeway. We had a positive stay and would recommend it to family or friends visiting the area. Finding the back alley gates took a little figuring out, and it was also hard to tell which houses we’d rented. The cleaning lady was there, luckily, or we’d have been really confused. My one suggestion is to provide an inventory of kitchen items, such as whether each house has pots and pans or a crockpot.

In October 2023, we rented the whole 10-house compound for our San Diego wedding. The rental’s big family-style table first caught my eye, and once we toured the place, we knew we needed the entire compound to make our wedding venue vision work. It wasn’t set up as a wedding venue, so pulling it off was a big undertaking, but the owners and staff helped us make it happen. Having all our family together in one place, sharing rooms and bunk beds, with the kids able to run around freely and the whole place feeling secluded, was everything and more. Thanks for all your help. I’d do this again with this company in a heartbeat if I could.

The bungalow was just right for our group of six: three bedrooms, two bathrooms, lots of space and privacy, and a kitchen stocked with cookware and utensils. We had so much fun cooking together that we hardly ate out. On the first night, we used the patio BBQ and had a relaxing evening. The beds were cozy, with soft pillows and extra blankets, and the air conditioning and bedroom fans kept everyone comfortable. Two bathrooms made getting ready easy, and there were plenty of parking spaces out front whenever we returned. The location was both private and peaceful, yet close to what we needed. A convenience store is only steps away, and Costco and other shops are a few minutes by car. The hospitality made the stay extra special. Jeff, the manager, greeted us warmly and was welcoming and down to earth. We later met Josh, the owner, who answered questions quickly, checked that we were comfortable, and clearly cared about our experience. We’d been searching for a place that could fit six and kept coming back to this property. From arrival to checkout, it felt like a home away from home and gave us comfort, convenience, and time to relax together. None of us wanted to leave, and we’re already talking about coming back. We were so glad we booked it.

Josh, the owner, was responsive and very helpful throughout our Company Holiday party. We used the beach boardwalk property and event tent spaces, which had plenty of room, games, seating, BBQs, heat lamps, and coolers. We were even able to put the football game on the TV. The space is unusual, fun, and very affordable. We’d highly recommend it for events and will definitely be back to host more.
