Holiday Inn Express San Diego - La Mesa

The people at the front desk were definitely nice and friendly, but the room itself wasn’t great. Walls, floors, and doors are thin, and the windows aren’t double-pane, so you can hear everything outside, in the hall, and in neighboring rooms. My shower wasn’t clean when I arrived, so I had to rinse it myself. The desk lamp was broken, and the bathroom had a faint cigarette smell even though it was a non-smoking room and property. It was fine for a short business trip.

Allison at the front desk was especially helpful and professional. She made sure I got my delivered package and helped with whatever I needed during the stay. The staff were friendly, professional, and accommodating, and I felt right at home at Holiday Inn Express, La Mesa San Diego. My experience was excellent and truly overwhelming in the best way. I highly recommend this place!

I’m writing to report a billing problem and the unprofessional service I received trying to get it fixed. My stay was meant to be billed directly to my insurance, but my personal card was charged $3,900 by mistake. That’s caused a significant financial burden and inconvenience. I wasn’t given clear answers or meaningful help resolving the error. Please reverse the $3,900 charge, confirm the bill will be processed through my insurance as originally agreed, and explain how this happened and what steps will be taken to prevent it happening to other guests. Please treat this as urgent. I expect written confirmation once the refund is processed and billing is corrected. Thank you for your prompt attention. I look forward to a swift resolution.

I loved my stay. It was super clean and welcoming, and ulices was really helpful and kind. We enjoyed our time there!
