Ramada by Wyndham near SeaWorld Mission Beach

I really enjoyed staying here in San Diego. The staff were friendly, helpful and available whenever I needed them, and the rooms were neat and clean. Amenities included an iron, hair dryer, microwave, mini fridge and paper cups. You could also get beverages in the reception area whenever you wanted. Parking was available, with food, drinks, shopping and leisure places close by. It’s near the airport too. I’d recommend it to anyone planning a trip to San Diego.

A few men hanging around outside at night made my grown son and me uncomfortable. Inside, though, we felt at home. The front counter employees were kind and personable, and our spacious room had a fridge and microwave, beautiful floors, a very clean bathroom and plush, comfortable beds. Breakfast was basic but enjoyable, and the room prices were reasonable. I’ll definitely stay there again when I visit San Diego.

The location was great, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The headboards were nasty, the top sheets were badly wrinkled and seemed partly burnt, and the appliances looked rusty and much too old. The hairdryer and microwave didn’t work, the toilet paper holder was useless, and the shower ran out of hot water. When I went to reception, both men at the desk told me there was nothing they could do and didn’t even try to help. I was there over a long weekend, had few options, and the price felt high.

There are plenty of fast food places within walking distance for a late-night bite. The hotel itself was in great shape for this price range. You could tell the owners and employees take pride in it: the furniture, paint and blankets weren’t broken or worn, and everything seemed new or refurbished. The room looked recently painted and the appliances all worked. I’d absolutely stay here again.
