There are good restaurants right downstairs, which was handy after long days exploring San Diego. The beach is very close, and the San Diego Zoo and Sea World are a short drive away. My family had a great two-night stay. It worked perfectly for us, and we even got the kids to sleep in their own room for once. The bathtub was really useful too. I’d happily stay again on our next trip. Thank you!

The beachfront location is good, but it’s loud with 710 club right across the street. Catering and garbage trucks also start up at 6 a.m.

Restaurants, bars, fast food, a CVS pharmacy, little shops, and the beach are all within walking distance. The place itself is cute and comfortable. The bar across the road makes it noisy at times, so it’s not for anyone looking for peace and quiet. It does serve great food, though, and you can watch games, do karaoke, or catch live bands on certain nights. The owner had earplugs available if the noise got too bad. They also left us a bottle of champagne, oatmeal, and popcorn, which was a really sweet touch. I’d definitely stay again.

The place looked nice, which made the booking trouble disappointing. I canceled after several suspicious messages from the host saying they couldn’t process payment, even though I’d provided two valid credit cards. They also tried to cancel my confirmed reservation. Maybe they were hoping to rebook it at a higher price, or maybe it was hacked from abroad and my card was blocked. Either way, it gave me bad vibes and seemed sketchy, possibly a scam. It was stressful and frustrating not having a confirmed reservation, so I canceled.

We came during Spring Break, when things were lively, but I was looking to unwind and that’s exactly what we did. The room and the views were spectacular. It had two master bedrooms, with balconies off the living room and the larger bedroom. The kitchen was fully stocked, even with a KitchenAid Mixer, and there were beach chairs and everything we needed to enjoy the ocean. For quieter time, the family had plenty of games to play.
