The studio was comfortable enough for an older building. It smelled normal, the slightly dated appliances all worked and were clean, and the TV had an ordinary signal but wasn’t smart. The furniture was sturdy and cared for, with working lights and outlets. The bed had clean, fresh-smelling white covers. Breakfast was included and self-serve. It was pretty good, with eggs, sausage, toasted eggs, a pancake maker, coffee, tea, tater tots, bread, muffins, fruit, juice, cereal, and milk. Check-in was late, and the night staff were especially friendly and helpful. The price was very good, too. The bathroom looked clean and the towels were fresh, but in the morning I noticed a little mold on the upper shower tiles. I arrived late and didn’t see it sooner. It looked like some spots may have been missed while drying or cleaning, leaving moisture on the tiles. I’d suggest checking the shower, asking for another room if you spot mold, and leaving the fan on. I’d come back, but I’d let the front desk know right away.

Dominick was great. I have gold status and was easily given a room upgrade, with plenty of rooms available that evening. Some other front desk staff could use more training on status benefits, such as complimentary upgrades and priority late checkout. I’d appreciate management getting in touch with me.

The night employee was kind and accommodating. He lit the fire pit, and we had a really nice evening. By Monday morning breakfast was available, and it was good, so the stay did improve. Before that, though, we were very disappointed. Breakfast had been advertised as included, one of the main reasons we picked this hotel, but nobody told us it wouldn’t be served that morning. We waited all morning with no notice or update. When we finally asked, a staff member said there was no breakfast and was rude, with no apology. We understand things happen, but customer service matters. We still had two more days and hoped things would get better.

The beds have deep dips in the middle and are so uncomfortable. There’s a sewer smell coming from the sink and throughout the hallways. The furniture is stained, and there are food splatters on the walls along with other questionable marks. The place badly needs cleaning and updating. If you plan to use the room kitchen, good luck finding pots or pans that aren’t wrecked, or even more than one spoon. I wouldn’t stay here.
