SureStay Hotel by Best Western San Diego Pacific Beach

I stayed at Best Western Pacific Beach for about two weeks and felt safe and comfortable in the neighborhood the whole time. The room was spotless, and the warm, comfortable beds were made with care. I didn't have a single complaint about the stay. Breakfast was fresh and hot each morning, with eggs, sausage, juice, coffee, and waffles you could make yourself. I miss those waffles now that I'm in my own place. The staff greeted me with smiles and were welcoming and professional throughout. Housekeeping clearly took pride in their work too, though I regret not getting the names of a couple of the people who cleaned our room so well. Please pass along my thanks to them. Brianna checked me in while handling several guests, and she stayed sweet and professional through it all. I hadn't put my mobility needs in the reservation, but she took the time to find me a first-floor room. Gina helped with several check-ins and was patient, professional, and clearly proud of her work. When my son and I needed five more days before we could move into our place, and the hotel was booking up because of its prime location, Gina found us a room for another week. Malea, the manager, was warm, kind, and seemed dedicated to running the hotel well. They all went out of their way to help. Alan helped me several times when my key card stopped working. It may have been my fault for keeping it beside my credit card, but he never made me feel bad and fixed it with a smile each time. When my son used up all our towels taking showers, Alan gave me a fresh set without hesitation. I even saw Gina helping with the landscaping one day. That kind of teamwork, where titles don't stop people pitching in, showed me how much pride they take in the place and how well Malea leads. I want to thank Malea, Gina, Brianna, and Alan. They made our stay so pleasant, and I'll come back when I need a relaxing day for myself. Honestly, they deserve 10 stars, not just 5. I also posted this review on Trip Advisor.
