Being in Little Italy was a huge plus. We could walk almost everywhere, barely needed a car, and whenever we did use Uber, rides were quick and cheap. It's also a 10-minute drive to the airport. The staff were kind and helpful, and when a third-party booking site accidentally added an extra night to my reservation, they fixed it right away and refunded me without hassle. The room was simple, clean, and comfortable, and surprisingly quiet inside. There was some outside noise from the nearby freeway, but that's typical for the area and didn't bother me. The beds and pillows are on the firm side, and the towels are tiny and thin, almost child-sized. Not a dealbreaker, just good to know if you're picky about that. It's a no-frills hotel with great service and an amazing location. You really can't beat the price, and I'd stay again.

We were in town for a family member's boot camp graduation and rented a double queen room for a couple of nights. Little Italy put us close to everything we needed, including the airport, MCRD, a car rental, food, and groceries. Gigi greeted us warmly at check-in, gave us a parking pass, and explained how to find our suite. The room was quaint and clean, with a pleasant view. I'd stay again.

A really dirty and uncomfortable place to stay, one of the worst I've experienced. They say parking is free, but only if you're lucky, since the lot was full of cars and we had to look elsewhere for a space. I don't recommend it.

The hallway had a strong, unpleasant odor, and sound carried easily into the room from the street and neighboring rooms. The property felt outdated and poorly maintained, and the room was unclean: stained sheets, towels with holes, a dirty shower curtain, a broken bathroom door, and even basic essentials were missing. The whole place seemed neglected and far below what I expected. I wouldn't recommend it.

Just need a place to sleep before heading out? This is a small room and bathroom with no frills, but it works well for that. I'd happily stay here again.
