The Margot Hotel San Diego Gaslamp Quarter, Outset by Hilton

I was charged $280 for parking for my whole stay, even though I parked there just one day. I asked several times during my stay to speak with management, and each time I was told they would take care of it. I hadn’t parked there for the rest of the time.

Great location.

Sebastian at valet was the standout for us. He was friendly every time we came and went, greeted us with a smile, and suggested local restaurants and places to visit that became some of our favorites. He seemed to really care that guests had a good stay. The hotel was beautiful, our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and all the staff were kind and helpful. We had a great stay that exceeded our expectations, and would happily return or recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Ray, JC, and the front desk team were what made this stay stand out. Whenever I needed something, they sorted it out quickly and made everything easy. They’re genuine, helpful, and clearly good at their jobs. I stay in a lot of hotels, and this was one of the best teams I’ve met. Everyone seemed happy to be there, and that kind of service really adds to a stay. The place was clean, the location was great, and the beds were super comfortable. Whatever they’re doing to build that staff culture is working. I’d stay again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.
