Welcome Inn

The room was clean, though a bit humid, and we weren't bothered or disturbed on the property. We figured it would be a seedy hotel, but it turned out to be quiet. We were in San Diego for Marine Corps graduation, and this was the closest place to the base at a reasonable price. The young woman at the desk was really nice.

Quiet, clean rooms and a manager who's nice, accommodating, and fair. This is the best Motel I've ever stayed at. It's not full of drug addicts walking around like zombies, either. You can't ask for much more from a decently priced place to rest. Love it here, 10/10, would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere quiet.

It feels more like a studio apartment than a motel, and the people in the office are awesome. I've stayed at the welcome in for the last two months and absolutely love it. It's comfortable and feels like Home, with a nice, small complex and mostly normal people staying here. I miss it already. It's my favorite place.

I've been here for an extended stay with my kiddo. It's safe and quiet, with staff available at all hours, and there are plenty of convenient places to eat, shop, and enjoy. The freeway is very close. Pets are accepted at no extra charge. The rooms have a mounted TV with cable, free WiFi, a small fridge, AC/heat, windows with shutters that open and close, and a door lock and peephole. There's also an ice machine and ample parking. They don't provide a coffee machine, iron, blow dryer, Holy Bible, or landline telephone in the room, but I never use those anyway.
