The AC and heater barely worked, and there were no outlets by the bed. The carpet was lifting, the walls had holes, and the chair had strings sticking out of it. The beds and hand towels were very dirty, and so was the bathtub.

Management is very nice, and it’s still a nice place to stay. They’re working hard to rebuild everything after the flood. Housekeeping could be a little better.

The rooms smell nice, and the heating and cooling work quickly and well. The mattresses are pretty good too, and it’s a nice stay for the price. I’ve stayed here four times over the past year, and everyone’s friendly. The owners keep making improvements, and we always have what we need. Don’t go by the old reviews, check the recent ones. A lot has changed, even in just a year.

It’s quiet here, so I get good rest. I like the improvements they’re making. This is a very old place, so I don’t expect everything to be perfect. If you ask for something, they do their best to respond quickly and accommodate you.

The rooms were clean, the people were nice, and the price was extremely affordable. I noticed some upgrades since our last visit, and you can tell the owners are trying. I’m always willing to support mom-and-pop businesses. Thanks for keeping the prices affordable.
