The only thing I liked was the view. The photos make this place look much better than it is, and I hated staying here. We spent a week waiting for the advertised resort amenities, but the pool stayed closed the whole trip. Management kept saying it would be fixed “tomorrow.” The worker seemed to spend about 20 minutes a day on it and blamed the weather, even though the weather was great. When I raised it, three office workers piled on with excuses about pool workers, despite the pool being visible from my room. I found them rude and dishonest, and the staff seemed lazy. Getting around and dealing with the property was a hassle from the start. We arrived at 7 p.m. on our first night and had to wait an hour just to park and reach our Airbnb unit. We were told we couldn't be there until the owner faxed a consent letter. Apparently they don't use modern technology. Afterward, we wandered around trying to find the unit because the building signs were wrong and the roads only go one way. They made us park on the other side of the property, there were hardly any signs, and the ones we did find were incorrect. There was no reasonable way to reach the office or staff, especially for travelers. Laundry was another ordeal. I downloaded two apps and tried tap-to-pay on the machines before I could finally wash our clothes. The condo itself was in shambles, and I doubt its filters had ever been changed. That's on the unit owner, but it still needs saying. It seems out-of-state owners rent these condos with very little upkeep. The peacocks are beautiful, but they make noise all night, and the walls are paper thin. One day my son and I were walking when the woman at the security post sprayed a peacock in our direction, getting us too, and didn't even apologize. We were on vacation and kept running into problems. The nearby beaches on the west side were overrun with homeless people, and getting to worthwhile beaches like Waikiki took at least one to two hours. There's one restaurant nearby at the country club, Loliki lounge, and it should be condemned. It was disgusting, with dead roaches, no bathroom soap, and dirty dishes and tables. Don't stay here. I don't want other families to go through what we did.
