The orange cat was extremely sweet, and breakfast was awesome. I did get itchy in the middle of the night, though. Not sure if it was the sheets. Overall, a great place to stay!

Great location and nice staff. We've stayed twice, and both times there was a strong weed smell from the lobby all the way into the rooms. The bedspread also had a couple of questionable spots.

We slept well without unnecessary noise or major interruptions. The atmosphere was relaxing, and we felt welcome. The rooms were roomy, clean, extra nice, and comfortable. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We give it 5 stars.

Once the water was working, the room was clean and comfortable. I was there for work and had booked four nights, but a family emergency meant I had to leave on the third day. The front desk girl wouldn't check me out early because I was scheduled to leave the next day. On the first morning, the shower didn't work, and it wasn't fixed until late that evening.

Jessica at the desk was AMAZING, warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. Everyone else was friendly too, but paled in comparison. The room was cleaned, beds made, and towels replaced daily, which I appreciated since some Marriott places I've stayed at lately only clean on request or every other day. All things considered, I'd come back despite a few cleanliness issues. The room started out a little less than perfect. It had no carpeting, though I couldn't tell if it was a pet friendly suite or if all the rooms were like that. The floor was sticky in spots. There was black hair on the shower wall and what might have been menstrual blood on the grab handle. My cousin, who shared the room, thought I was imagining it until she saw it too. We didn't take pictures. Breakfast was a standard free hotel spread: probably powdered eggs and either bacon or sausage, make your own Belgian waffle, yogurts, fresh bananas and apples, three kinds of dry cereal, oatmeal packets, packaged Honey buns or cinnamon rolls, and some white bread. It wasn't the best free breakfast I've had, but nowhere near the worst. There's a smoking section in the hotel, which Michigan, where I'm from, did away with decades ago. I don't smoke and worried I'd be near it or smell smoke. I could see maybe 6 or 8 smoking rooms on the second floor at the back, separated from the rest of the hotel by a door. I passed through that hallway after parking behind the hotel. It smelled interesting in that small area, like cigarettes, vapes and wacky tobacky, but I couldn't smell it through the rest of the hotel and avoided that spot after I noticed it. The hotel was closest to my brother's place, who I was visiting, and had the highest rating nearby. There was a small pool out front that I didn't have time to use, but it looked clean and inviting, especially with the heat index around 104 while I was there. If you don't know the area and want food, try Pickle Barrel sports bar. The firecracker shrimp was amazing.
