Quality Inn Richmond Airport

For under $70, I got a room that was decent enough, and I’d stay again. The appliances worked, the shower had hot water, and I didn’t see any bugs. There were a couple of spots on the floor that could use patching, but it really wasn’t that bad. The front desk staff were friendly, and it was handy that they sell drinks and snacks for $1-3.

The room itself was clean and comfortable. They quickly brought hand towels and filled the empty conditioner bottle in the shower after we mentioned they were missing. Breakfast was already put away when we came down shortly after 9, even though most hotels serve it until 10 on weekends.

The staff put in the effort to make my stay really pleasant, and I appreciated that. The rooms are clean and make you feel at home, especially if you're a neat person 😄. Good people here.

The refrigerator, microwave, and television in the room were useful, and the location is good, about five minutes from Richmond International Airport. But the rooms smelled damp, and the old carpet in the room and hallway looked dirty and awful. The iron and ironing board were rusty, and the laundry room where they wash the sheets was disgusting. I could smell weed everywhere. This place needs an upgrade. Get rid of the carpets and put in tile or vinyl so the air feels fresher.
