The pool area is lovely, and the hot tub was doing exactly what a hot tub should. Breakfast was right on point, especially considering there were so few guests because of the blizzard. The staff were polite and helpful, and the rooms seemed clean, though a bit run-down. We booked this room to use the pool and exercise room, so it was disappointing to find debris on the treadmills and water actively dripping onto them. I'd recommend the hotel unless you need to use the exercise room.

The room was great, and the warm bathtub was relaxing. The pool room and hot tub were amazing, and the place felt peaceful despite being close to lots of things. The workout room was advertised, which is why we paid full price. It was open when we arrived, so we got ready and went down, only to find it completely unusable. The roof was caving in and there was debris on a treadmill. I don't think it should be open to the public in that condition.

For our two-day Cedar Point trip, we looked around Sandusky for a hotel and chose Sleep Inn Sandusky after seeing good reviews. The room was clean and comfortable, and everything worked as it should. The bathroom was clean as well, with plenty of towels and toiletries. Breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our family enjoyed the stay and we'll be back soon.

The beds were so soft you sank into them, but there wasn't enough support at the edges and you could slide off. Breakfast had waffles, but no bacon or sausage, and there's no bathtub. Still, it's a nice hotel with an indoor pool and hot tub.

The room looked okay at first, but the mattress was dingy and dirty, brown and black along the side. It looked like it might have been salvaged from a bedbug infestation or something. I took a picture and may post it, along with one of the waffle maker. The website says there's a hot breakfast, but all we found in the morning were breakfast sandwiches heated in a microwave. The waffle maker wasn't working properly, its plates were damaged, and waffles stuck and tore apart every time someone tried to make one. I told the woman at the desk, and she blamed Golden waffles, the supplier, saying they refused to repair the machine. I asked why they didn't just get a new one if they were going to keep advertising hot breakfast and wanted guests to be happy. These are basic rooms made to look fine until you look closer and find gross things like a dirty mattress, then discover you can't even make a waffle. I wouldn't stay again. Next time we visit I'll find somewhere else. You live and you learn!
