Sonesta ES Suites Atlanta - Perimeter Center North

The room itself was very nice, and I loved having a refrigerator. It was also very affordable. But the hotel didn't provide the services it had advertised, which had led me to choose it over nearby options. There was no continental breakfast and not even a laundry room. They told me to go to a nearby laundromat. I wouldn't call the place a dump, but they weren't truthful about what was available.

I stayed here for a few months after a tree fell on my house, with insurance providing the lodging. For the first few months, things were fine: the rooms were cleaned every week or two, sheets were changed, supplies like toilet paper, towels, washcloths, and paper towels were provided, and breakfast was included each day. Management was friendly and accommodating. Then ownership changed about three months ago, and none of those pleasant things continued. They don't seem to care about your stay. They're renovating rooms under the new ownership, and I've heard they're turning them into apartments. I saw the occasional cockroach, though not many bugs overall, but I did get an unusual number of bites without ever seeing what bit me. The doors didn't feel secure. I found men's clothes in my room and never learned who they belonged to or how they got there. It left me panicked for days. There's constant construction on the road too, so water may get shut off during your stay. In the end, they kicked me out because police were called on my neighbor. I had to hear domestic arguments and what may have been child abuse every night. I'm thankful to be gone.

Check-in was easy, and the man at the desk was very nice. The room was a little drab and smelled odd, but for the price it wasn't terrible. I chose the hotel for its price and advertised complimentary breakfast, so it was a big disappointment to arrive and see a small sign saying breakfast was no longer served. I was on a work trip and now had to plan to pay for all three meals. The worst part was the nighttime construction. Around 9pm, while I was on the second floor, a door downstairs kept slamming. It went on until nearly midnight. I finally called the desk to ask someone to quiet down, and the woman told me they were doing construction in the rooms below mine. In the middle of the night? She was nice, and the noise stopped soon after, but I thought it was completely unacceptable. Not a great stay. You get what you pay for, but I wouldn't recommend it if you want breakfast or a quiet night.
