Sanibel Siesta on the Beach Unit 501 2 Bedrooms 2 Bathrooms Condo

The location was fantastic, and I’d stay there again. The building and its fixtures are getting old, though, and worn faucets and light fixtures took a little away from the experience.

A quiet place to slow down and chill, not somewhere for a wild party. The middle of the island is a great base for beach time, the pool, biking, walking, reading, wildlife sanctuary visits, and good nearby restaurants. There’s easy access to the bike path, and the condos and pool are very nice.

The staff at Sandibel Siesta were just wonderful. They told us about flying teeth and made sure we had bug spray. Patrica was a jewel and called around to find live music for us, and John, the maintenance guru, helped a friend with car trouble. The place was quiet, well kept, and laid out really well. We went in early October and the timing was perfect. The condo was just steps from the beach, where wide stretches of sand were covered in exquisite shells. This was our first visit, but we’ve found a home away from home on Sandibel Island!

We rode the on-site rental bikes to nearby shops and restaurants several times, and the pool was nice, with plenty of chairs and umbrellas for shade. The only snag was the electric blind in the main bedroom. John from maintenance explained what was going on, though he still owes me a bottle of vodka...lol. We stayed in 604 this past week. The beach and ocean view were perfect, the condo was very clean and nicely furnished, and the decor was fabulous. It had a full kitchen with everything needed to cook. The staff were great and helpful. I highly recommend this unit and the place as a whole. Can’t wait to return.
