The rooms were quiet, roomy, and very clean, and beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels came with the room, which was so helpful. We had a great time on Sanibel. Shell Island beach club is peaceful and beautiful, with a boardwalk that makes it easy to walk from the room straight to the beach. It never felt crowded. We found hundreds of sand dollars shelling and spotted dolphins several times. The lighthouse is about a half-mile walk away. They’re still recovering from the hurricane, so there was some construction and the pool remained closed, but neither affected our stay or rating. I’m glad we chose to stay there.

We hadn’t been back to Sanibel in a couple of years because of the storm damage, so it was really nice to return. They’re still getting things sorted out, but our visit was remarkable. Leandro was friendly and ready to help whenever we needed something, and the renovations look great so far.

The condo was fantastic, and being right on the beach was exactly what we wanted. They supplied chairs, an umbrella, and beach towels, and the office staff were remarkable. The pool hadn’t reopened after the hurricane, though you could see they were actively restoring the property. I just got home from Sanibel Island, and as a travel agent I’d highly recommend this place to anyone headed there.

The beaches are spectacular, and we love being so close to the lighthouse. We return every year to a beautiful timeshare, with two units and two different views, and both are fantastic. The staff are always super helpful. This summer, red tide meant we spent a lot more time indoors and at the pool instead of on the beach. We were grateful to have a fabulous pool and a clean, airy, open condo with a screened-in Lanai where we could spend the day.

We liked the pool, which was very clean, and cooked hamburgers on the grills nearby. The kitchen was spotless too. The resort is across from the beach and close to the lighthouse, with tennis courts, bikes available for free, and water floats and balls. Our two-bedroom unit had a dining area, living room, balcony, full kitchen, washer, and dryer. Everything was immaculate, inside and around the property, and the office staff gave us a map and explained where everything was. For Labor Day weekend, everything seemed booked, so I randomly started calling places I saw on Google Maps. Lisa at Kenoyer Real Estate nearby gave me a great rate when I called. We’ll be back for a full week next year. There are lots of places to go nearby, too.
