The Eagle Inn

Peter at the front desk explained everything and was so helpful. The inn was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the room felt relaxing. We also loved the breakfast. The location made it easy to get to the beach, restaurants, shops, and places to stroll, and I’d stay again. We were put in an accessible room. The bathroom counter storage was a little tight for us, and I could have used more hooks, though I understand the shelves had to be shallow and there couldn’t be storage under the sink to accommodate a wheelchair.

The location made it easy to walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants, and the staff were so friendly and great with customer service. We loved our couple of days at Eagle Inn. At our request, they decorated the Valentine’s Suite, which was cozy, beautiful, and thoughtfully put together. The fireplace gave it a romantic feel. Breakfast was included, made to order rather than buffet style, and completely free. Such a nice surprise. We had a great stay and will be back. Highly recommend! 💖

We came planning to stay one night, but ended up staying three because we liked it so much. The rooms were clean, the service was friendly, especially Peter, and the location was perfect. Helena, our favorite bakery, is 10 minutes away, while the train station and beach are each about a five-minute walk. We’ll definitely come back!

We loved the beautiful tiles and carved wooden furniture throughout the inn, from our room to the lovely dining room. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated for Valentine’s Day, and even the balcony chairs and side table had been dusted and cleaned. We booked a room with a Jacuzzi for two to celebrate my husband’s birthday and happy retirement. The inn’s architecture and history were fascinating, and we were amazed by how well the building has been maintained. West Beach, two piers, and the famous State Street are all within walking distance. We enjoyed walking on the pier and watching the sunset. The Eagle Inn really is one and only inn in Santa Barbara!
