Rose Garden Inn

A great place for the price, right on State St. Grocery stores, gas stations, and banks are just a block or two away on foot. The staff were great and accommodating. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in town.

My friend left my nice portable charger, worth $100, at the front desk for me to pick up a couple of days later. He took a picture of it and left both our phone numbers with it. When I showed up as planned, it was nowhere to be found. They admitted they remembered receiving it, but clearly one of their employees stole it. They said they’d call me once they found it, but of course they never did. I wouldn’t trust anyone staying here.

At 5:00AM, a woman was yelling loudly and banging on a door while arguing with someone in the room next door. Earlier, I found a drug needle sticking out from behind a frame in my room. I wouldn't stay here if you care about feeling safe. Pay more and go somewhere else.

The room was a little worn, though that seemed fair for the low price. The curtains let in plenty of light overnight, and there were no hangers, so keep that in mind if you like to hang up clothes you've worn once. They did provide room service during our two-night stay, which was a plus. For a couple of nights while visiting, it's an affordable enough place.
