Mary Ann made our late evening arrival easy, with clear, thorough check-in instructions, and she was incredibly accommodating. The casita was cozy, clean, and stocked with what we needed, coffee included. We liked the fireplace and full kitchen, though the appliances were a little dated but worked fine. It’s near the Plaza, restaurants, and shops. We’ll come back for another staycation.

We spent five nights in casita G and really loved the quiet street and tucked-away private patio, even with downtown close by. We booked the smallest unit, and it was plenty of room for the two of us. The place was thoroughly cleaned, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen had all the appliances we needed, plus an in-unit washer and dryer. Mary Ann checked in before our very late arrival to make sure we could get in without trouble. This will be our first choice next time we’re in Santa Fe.

The courtyard was lovely, and we spent most evenings out there. Casita D was well equipped, so we ate many meals in. Its location made it easy to walk to most of the places we needed and wanted to see. One thing to change: the kitchen stools were uncomfortable to sit on for long, and should be replaced with counter-height ones.

For downtown, this was quite a bargain. Our Casita G was cozy without feeling cramped for two adults and our medium-sized dog. The host was really welcoming and accommodating. We loved the little casita and would stay again.

We parked in front of the casita most of the week and walked around the safe, clean neighborhood to the plaza, less than a 10-minute walk away. A grocery store and shopping plaza were only a five-minute drive. We’d visited Santa Fe many times over 30 years, usually staying at B&Bs, but with five adults, two rooms would have cost too much. Casas de Guadalupe was a lucky find for our week between Christmas 2019 and January 2nd.2020. The two-bedroom casita had a sitting area and 1 ½ baths, and felt welcoming and comfortable. It wasn’t fancy, just lovely and very Santa Fe, with dramatic art, vases, and baskets throughout. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully supplied, from thick fluffy towels and plenty of good two-ply toilet paper to a fireplace with starter wood. We picked up extra wood at the nearby gas station/convenience store. The queen and full beds had soft sheets, lovely covers, lots of pillows, and extra bedding. The kitchen was well appointed, with excellent knives and pretty turquoise and tan dishes, and making breakfast every day saved us a lot. The washer and dryer came with detergent and fabric softener. Mary Ann communicated wonderfully from the booking through our departure. My family said I was a star for finding it. Thank you, Mary Ann. We’ll definitely be back. The Parkers, Laguna Niguel, CA.
