The plumbing was a problem too. Our toilet wouldn't flush and the sink wouldn't drain, but the front desk said someone could come the next morning. We were leaving right after breakfast after just one night, so we had to manage it ourselves. They also added fees after booking, including $40 for a pet. The room was reasonably comfortable, but dirty, with sticky floors and an overpowering smell. An air freshener seemed to be covering antiseptic and years of animal odors, and the smell hit me every time I came back in. It needed a deep clean. I've had much nicer stays at Motel 6 and Super 8, without hidden fees. I wouldn't stay here again.

The hotel art really put us in the Santa Fe mood, and the decor was beautiful. We found the rooms clean and cozy, the breakfast was delicious, especially the New Mexican breakfast burritos, and everyone we met was lovely. For the price, this was probably the best hotel I've booked. The carpet looked a little dated, and although our booking app listed a spa, we couldn't find one. Still, we enjoyed our stay and would come back.

The breakfast was decent, with bagels, muffins, instant oats, apples, and burritos. Coffee and hot water were meant to be available in the lobby all day, but whenever we went, the supply was empty. When we asked, the staff member kindly refilled the hot water. This is a good-value budget hotel about 10-15 minutes by car from Santa Fe Plaza. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom could use an update. The basic amenities were there, including a TV, coffee maker, and toiletries. The AC and heater only have heat or cool fan settings, with no temperature control, so the room could end up too hot or cold.

I booked this just for the low price and got lucky. The rooms were great and had everything, breakfast was great, and the service was excellent. It was way above average compared with Holiday inns and Marriotts. I don't know why it's not rated more highly. Thank y'all!
