Drury Plaza Hotel in Santa Fe

The dinner, breakfast, and drinks were fun and convenient, and we got to swim and walk around the plaza until the kids were tired out. There's interesting art everywhere, and I liked the old hospital feel. Everyone working there was very friendly and helpful. We booked a family staycation and loved it. We'll book again.

The food was wonderful, the valet parking was great, our balcony had a nice view, and the rooms were very nice. It's been years, but every time I hear the Drury name, I remember how impressive the stay was. Best hotel experience I've ever had.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the place itself is lovely. Room 419 had a nice setup, with a short private hallway leading to the bedroom, plus a balcony, fridge, microwave, safe, and the other amenities. The trouble was the noise. It seemed like the water heaters and washing machines were right on the other side of the wall, and the room was tucked among equipment and appliances. I couldn't get to sleep until 5 a.m., when the noise suddenly stopped. I usually bring earplugs or a sound machine, especially near an elevator, but I didn't have them this time, and using a phone app wasn't an option for other reasons. If you can choose another room, that's my one suggestion.

Relaxing in the hot tub at sunset was a highlight, and the pool is a nice extra. Drury Plaza Hotel in Santa Fe is right downtown, so we could walk everywhere. They serve free breakfast and have complimentary evening snacks from 5:30-7:00 pm, with three free drinks per person. Valet parking is the only option and costs $30 a night. A very pleasant, convenient stay, and I'd recommend it.
