Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe

I only came for brunch, not to stay. It was fine, though I’d hoped there’d be more choices, especially since it was the weekend and Valentine’s Day. The manager was helpful and we had a nice conversation. The server and wait staff were great, attentive, and helped us order.

The private hot tub was a real highlight and made the stay more memorable. The setting is quiet and relaxing, with a peaceful, tucked-away feel that works well for a getaway. Downtown Santa Fe is only about a 15-minute drive, so getting there is convenient while the property still feels secluded. It was a lovely place to unwind on holiday.

Our mini honeymoon was wonderful, and we enjoyed every moment at this luxurious, almost otherworldly resort. We had dinner at Terra on Christmas Eve, lit fires in our room and on our private patio, treated ourselves to a couples massage at the spa, and jogged the Camino Encantado. The staff and service were impeccable, attentive to our needs and thoughtful about keeping in touch. We also took day trips to hike nearby mountains, explore downtown Santa Fe, visit Meow Wolf, and go to Bandalier National Park. We loved the outdoors and the distinctive local food. We can’t wait to return to the Four Seasons. This stay made us customers who’ll come back wherever we travel.

The staff have been great and very accommodating. The front desk guy even offered us water while we were in the valet line. But the room issues were hard to overlook. We were assigned a room for three without being told it had two full-size beds, and there was blood on a pillow. I know some might call it a little blood, but at a FIVE STAR hotel at this price, I expect more. After we raised the issue, we got a completely different room, only to find a contact lens stuck to the bathroom counter. They should’ve asked whether we needed clean pillowcases.
