The room was spotless, with an enormous living room, full kitchen, and a nicely sized bedroom. I haven’t seen a cleaner tub. We were about nine days into our rt 66 roadtrip and Devon kindly let us check in three hours early. She also gave us a map of walkable restaurants and points of interest. The Clubhouse next door has a free laundry room, and you can play billiards while your wash is going. The location and price were both great. It cost less than the Route 66 motel we’d stayed at the night before, which was rundown, dirty, and a quarter of the size. After six or seven places on our trip, this one wins hands down. I can’t understand why its rating isn’t higher. Did those other reviewers actually stay here, or mix it up with somewhere else?

The Saturday afternoon hot toddy was a lovely surprise and gave us a chance to chat with other guests. Housekeeping also took good care of us, with real attention to detail. Devon and Anthony made the trip especially memorable by making sure we were comfortable, had what we needed, and got answers to all our questions. Their friendly, professional service reflects well on the Hilton team. The atmosphere was just right, and the location is quiet but central, within walking distance of the Plaza. We can’t wait to return.

For the money it was acceptable, and everything was close by, but I personally wouldn’t stay again. We were charged an additional 15% room fee each day. The room had a standard tub, great hot water, and a nice shower head. The toilet sat very low and was hard to flush, and the toilet paper and paper towels seemed as cheap as they could get. The mattress was lumpy, none of the mismatched pillows were comfortable, and we could hear everything from the hall and rooms on either side. We arrived after dark and had trouble finding the registration building. The front desk had no personality. I expected a little more from Hilton.

The staff were kind and helpful, parking was easy, and we could walk to the plaza. The property was really lovely overall. Our room felt like an apartment, and we loved that it was quiet, clean, and had a fireplace. Highly recommend!

The rooms are a little older, but they’re spacious, quiet, and well kept. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and it’s an easy walk to the plaza and restaurants. Had a wonderful stay, highly recommend.
