The sink drained slowly, and the shower body wash dispenser didn’t work, but those were small issues in an otherwise really comfortable stay. We spent three nights here and found the rooms exceptionally clean, with soft beds and a thoughtful Southwestern artistic touch. The quiet setting and room’s ductless A/C made it easy to get the temperature just right. Adam and Leah are warm, welcoming owners, and their personal recommendations for food and activities in the binder were useful. Laundry costs $5, added to the bill, and the ice machine also dispenses filtered tap water. Sun Mountain is right behind the motel, with the trailhead a four-minute drive away, and it’s lovely at sunrise or sunset. Downtown is about ten minutes away, though you’ll need to pay to park there. The place has a nostalgic 1950s Route 66 roadside feel, thoughtfully renovated, with a nice balance of comfort and price. I’d happily return.

Really lovely spot. It was spotless, the staff were so friendly, and the decor was great. I loved their Chocolate Maven breakfast suggestion, that was a treat. I need one of those rugs! With the location too, this is my Santa Fe go-to for the foreseeable future.

Every room has its own decor, and ours was super clean and incredibly comfortable. One of the best places I’ve stayed anywhere. This is the good stuff, people.

The front desk woman was lovely and really helpful, and the room was comfortable and unlike any other hotel room I’ve had. I felt more relaxed here than I ever have at a hotel. It’s just outside town, but close enough to get around easily. I can’t wait to come back.

We first chose this place because the price was good, it was close to Christus Medical Center, and it allowed dogs. We’d driven past a few times on trips there, and needed an overnight stay. The room was spacious, fresh-looking, and very clean. We got the “bike room,” which I loved as an avid cyclist and occasional racer. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the property was quiet with plenty of parking. The TV was a bit smaller than I’d like, but we weren’t there to watch TV, so it barely mattered. Owners, housekeeping, and office staff are doing a fantastic job. There’s a $50 non-refundable pet fee, dogs only, and they can’t be left unattended, which is understandable. Even with the fee, what I paid was a great value. There’s also a very convenient Mexican restaurant on site, not affiliated with the motel, with great food and service. I’d stay again without hesitation. If someone doesn’t enjoy it here, that says more about them than the stay. Two big thumbs up.
