Getting around on foot was a real plus, especially since our rental car couldn’t manage the snow. We could walk to shops, museums, and restaurants, and the stroll over to Hacienda Nicholas was lovely. At the Cottage, the fireplace was replenished and ready for a cozy fire each day, and the room was cleaned daily. They’d even stocked our favorite teas and had gluten-free choices at breakfast, including an amazing blueberry French toast casserole. The owners were so personable and helpful, from sorting out our arrival during the snowstorm to arranging massages. My husband and I had a delightful stay, and we’re already looking forward to returning to Santa Fe and staying at the Cottage or another room at Alexander/Nicholas Inn. We’d also highly recommend spa treatments at their award-winning Absolute Nirvana Inn.
