Rodeway Inn

The pool was good, and I liked having a separate breakfast room. Breakfast was hot and had the best variety. The room was clean and nice, and I love that there was no carpet; I think that avoids the usual hotel smell. It's a little dated, but it's a Rodeway and you can't beat the price. Staff were nice and helpful. There's fast food and gas nearby, though not close to the highway if that's what you want. Old Town is an easy drive.

A surprisingly nice place for the price. The pool was excellent, clean, and very quiet, and our room was comfortable and clean too. The bed sagged a bit, but we still slept fine. Rates were reasonable for the experience.

The room was very small and hadn't been cleaned properly. When I asked for an extra towel, the front desk said they didn't have any. It was freezing in the room, and all I was told was to wait for it to heat up. The front desk was rude and unhelpful. The heated pool wasn't heated at all, and the whole pool facility was cold. The pool area was filthy, with dead plants all around it. If they offer a year-round pool, they should add heaters when needed and air-conditioning when needed. This hotel is not friendly, and I don't recommend it to anyone.

The breakfast was good, and the woman looking after it was very attentive. My room was laid out nicely, though the air conditioner sat right below the TV, so adjusting it meant crawling under the screen. The tissue box was empty, too. I also wouldn’t call this a four-star motel. When I asked for a ground-floor room, the staff member refused and even suggested I cancel, maybe because I was paying with reward points.
