The free breakfast is just barely fine. The scrambled eggs weren't very tasty, the sausage was soggy, and there was no fruit. Still, I gave it five stars because the small hotel looks very nice, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The price isn't bad either.

The room was clean, the staff were amazing, and the basic breakfast was good. Thanks, Simon! Voices carried because it wasn't very soundproof, but things quieted down around 11, so I had no real complaint. I stayed here on the way from Oregon to LA and would definitely come back if I'm in the area.

The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out, and the staff were wonderful, friendly, helpful, and courteous. It's a beautiful place and good value. If you're anywhere near Santa Maria while traveling along the California coast, don't miss this hotel. A real treasure.

I spent a relaxing evening sitting in a comfortable chair with my feet on another, enjoying the fresh air with the door open. The bathroom window at the back was a nice feature. With the front window or door open, a cool breeze moved through the room. Many hotels have sealed windows and AC that doesn't bring in fresh air, which is a problem with mini splits that have no fresh-air option. I was on the second floor and enjoyed the view of the pool and courtyard. The room was simple and spacious, and the facility was clean and well kept. The location gave me pause because I saw homeless people camped on the next block while driving around, but otherwise it was a pleasant surprise.

We had a great one-night stay. The room was spacious and the bathroom clean. Simon checked us in, was really friendly and attentive, and quickly found us a room near the staircase to make things easier with our luggage. Big thanks to him and the helpful staff.
