The host was warm and quick to respond, and the location was close to what we needed. Our room felt cozy and was well kept, with a welcoming atmosphere. It was a comfortable, easy stay.

For my birthday, my girlfriend and I booked 30A Inn & Suites in Santa Rosa Beach for August 18-20, 2025. We couldn't stay in the room because it had visible mold and a strong mildew smell. My girlfriend has a severe mold allergy and has suffered from mold poisoning before. I'm a 100% disabled veteran with PTSD and anxiety, and those conditions felt unsafe for both of us. We couldn't spend even five minutes inside without feeling sick, so we left and paid for another hotel that night to have somewhere safe to sleep. Staff tried to move us twice, but each unit they showed us had mold. There was no on-site manager or responsible staff member to deal with the problem. We handled every conversation by phone, and the representatives seemed unfamiliar with the property and its condition. Communication was confusing and unhelpful, with nobody physically there to oversee guest concerns. Management promised a refund several times, but returned only $50 of the $212.80 we paid. It took over two months to get even that much, and whenever I followed up, they blamed “technical issues.” This caused a lot of stress and hardship on what should have been a relaxing birthday trip. The property wasn't properly maintained, customer service was unresponsive, and the refund process felt unprofessional and unreliable. If you care about health, safety, or customer service, I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

Everything in the unit was spotless, from the kitchen and bathroom to the linens and floors. It felt comfortable and homey, and it was clear the host puts care into keeping it tidy. I loved staying here and would come back.

The peaceful setting was still close to the beach and local spots, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room had what we needed for a relaxing trip and was clean and comfortable. It was great value for the price, and I'd happily stay again.
